Do Not Fear The Path Put Before You

As you draw your heart close to me I will continue to draw my heart close to you. Those who are willing to abandon the trivial and worthless distractions of this life, will find myself and experience all I have as I reveal myself continually. For those willing to abandon the plans they have for their own life, I will reveal my plans to you. All these things will be accomplished in due season, if you will remain faithful until the end. (1)

Make no mistake, the days of testing are coming. These days will truly test your heart and will truly test where your loyalties lie, but do not be worried. When you fall, make mistakes, or deviate be quick to get back up, quick to repent, and quick to learn what you need to learn as you forget about your mistakes. Pick up your cross quickly, but do not belittle yourself, nor hold yourself in unforgiveness. (2)

The cross is your place of safety. There will be mess and confusion on all sides at various times of your life. There will be danger, catastrophe, and uncertainty on all sides, but in the cross you will find your refuge and safety. The cross will be your solace, but will also be your door to greater things yet to come. Therefore do not fear the cross. Even though it looks like death to your natural self, though it looks terribly painful, though it is not glamorous, do not fear it. Instead, embrace the cross and all that comes along with it. Embrace the path marked for you, the path laid before your eyes even this very day. (3)

There is a unique path for you to walk, and this path will require the very most from you. It will require you to discard many things in your life, and will likewise require you to adopt many things too. You will hate it at times, but it will save you. You will resist it in the short term, but will grow to love it on the long term. So do not fear the path put before you. Do not fear the cross, and what will be required of you. For the cross is the place of your safety, and the only way for you to live. If you die to yourself, you will live unto me, and together we will accomplish all that has been assigned for you in this day and season. (4)
