Enjoying Today While Pursuing Tomorrow

In this day of moving forward, as you continue to put your eyes on the prize, keep your focus on the end destination, while you maintain focus on your position for today. Be mindful of the direction you are heading. Understand the call and assignment upon your life. Discern the day and season in which you are living, but also keep in mind the things of today. If you will keep yourself in line daily with where you are headed, the future will be so much easier. You will be able to rest, as you enjoy the process and journey, having the assurance you are moving in the right direction, given from the confidence of your end goal. (1)

It is so easy to become overwhelmed with things of today, and lose sight of where you are heading. Discouragement sets in, time seems to pass so slowly, and everything begins to seem pointless, hopeless, and worthless. But by keeping the vision I have given you before your eyes, you will have a perspective that will sustain you, as it gives meaning to your trials and processes in your life. The vision I have given you will sustain your heart, will help keep courage and hope alive, and foster a long term perspective. (2)

Without vision you may perish, but with the vision I have given you, with a clear understanding of who you are, where you are, and where you are going, you will have perspective that can help weather the storms you encounter along the way. It will do you no good to lose today in your pursuit of tomorrow. In your pursuit of greater things, do not lose sight of the lesser things, for both are needed, and both are important. The greater things will be comprised in the culmination and accumulation of the lesser things over time. (3)

As my process continues to carry its effects, you will see the beauty and wisdom of the process and path I have laid before you. In your focus and understanding, keep in mind things of today, while bearing in mind also, the things of tomorrow. (4)
