Rest In My Presence

I have found you in the depths of your isolation and solitude, in the realms in which you have hidden from me. Though you did not want to be found, I found you still. And though you wanted to mask your feelings, and hide your thoughts, I pursued you in deliberate search to find you and redeem you from where you had fallen. (1)

Because of this, know I have not been disappointed in you, but have seen you since before the beginning, and have loved you all the while. I have seen you, known you, and loved you, even in your darkest hours, even in your greatest failures. Remain secure in this fact, for nothing will separate you from my great love, not even you. (2)

Nothing in all creation will be able to block me, nor stop me from loving you. Remain confident, knowing I have loved you since before the beginning, and will continue to do so, no matter what happens.

When you feel down, rest in my presence. When you feel embarrassed or ashamed, rest in my presence. Rest in the knowledge of my great love for you, for you will not always feel it in the moment. Know my love never wavers; know I love you consistently; know I am always here for you no matter what happens. (3)
