Rest And Trust In My Leadership

As you consider the challenges in your life, look at them with clarity but also with confidence. Though the challenges are real, know I have equipped you with what you will need to overcome them. Your tendency will be to lack confidence for things you have failed in the past, or because the obstacles, or people, seem to be too big, too strong, or too difficult to overcome. But let me assure you they are small in my sight. These light, and momentary afflictions are very real, but they are also very small. So fix your eyes on reality, not denying what you are facing, but recognizing who you are in me, with me (1).

Consider what I have said and what I have already made known to you. Be confident in knowing I will work with you as I work through you. You are not alone for I am always with you. You have been equipped and empowered with me to overcome all these things, and even more. So do not hesitate, but endeavor forward as I call you to advance.

This is the very reason you are encountering the challenges you face this day. You are encountering them in order to reveal to you the strength, power, and victory already planted within you, waiting to be developed, released, and manifested in your life (2).

And as you consider what I have said, know I am not a man that I would lie to you or deceive you. Know I have said these things to empower you, but also to provoke and awaken you. For you see my words as literal, and understand them one-dimensionally. But when I speak, I speak to multiple layers, conveying multiple meanings, for multiple seasons, all simultaneously. So do not dismiss the words I have already spoken to you, as though there is no additional insight, or as if the words I said yesterday hold no relevance or value for you today. But recall my words, and stand on them, for the words I speak are spirit, and they are life! (3)

Also know your perception and determination is different than mine. Know your desires are often very different than my desires. Know my goals, my timelines, my objectives are also very different than what you have or would choose to have. And in this recognition remain steadfast, but also remain flexible as I choose to navigate your path differently than you presumed. Follow my leadership and the inspiration of my spirit as I continue to speak to you. Do not remain rigid or inflexible as you see additions and new developments added to your path according to my will. For as things grow and mature, so also your understanding and interpretation will also grow and mature. And in your maturity you will be able to remain flexible (4).

Do not be harsh with yourself because you did not understand everything completely. Do not feel you have made an error, but understand you know in part and I am guiding you day by day, step by step. Know I will continue to fulfill my role as Shepherd in your life, even in the times you have been presumptuous, or have made incorrect conclusions (5).

In all things remain confident in what I have given you as you remain confident in who I am. For in these things you will know and rest and trust. In these things I will continue to feed you, encourage you, empower you, and instruct you, and will do so graciously and patiently.
