Security and Stability Beyond Your Capacity To Explain

I know you want to hear from me, but let me remind you I also want to hear from you. I desire to hear your thoughts, plans, dreams and desires. I desire to interact with you and share together all these things, the trivial as well as the important. For all these things comprise the full experience of the life I have given you. So do not hide them from me, do not seek me only in times of emergency, but share every single little thing with me (1).

For as you engage with me you will come to know me in ways you cannot imagine. You will come to experience my gentleness, not just my power. You will come to experience my healing touch, not just my hand of correction. You will come to experience my compassion, kindness, generosity, and mercy, not only my righteousness and justice that you also tend to fear.

Though you experience hurts and heart aches along the way, though you experience disappointments that are very real, though you know firsthand the sorrow of loss and brokenness, do not presume these things are forbidden to me. Share with me in all these things, for you will find rest, hope, and relief as you do. You will encounter me in such profound and necessary ways that you will be utterly delighted. For what I have for you is limitless in its expression and manifestation. What I have for you is so much more robust than you have previously known (2).

But what I have for you is also so much more personalized too. For I will meet you right where you are this very moment. I will engage with you in the midst of your struggle. I will meet with you in the midst of your confusion and hurt. I will meet you in the midst of all your flaws and imperfections, and will love you in spite of them all.

In no way do any of these things disqualify you from me. In no way are you unworthy of me, for I have called you my own. Know that while you desire to hear my voice, and know my hand, so also I desire to share all things with you. I desire to hear you, to feel you, to kiss you, and to embrace you. I desire to make myself known to you, and to receive you just as you are in this very moment (3).

And in the realization of this truth you will find security and stability beyond your own capacity to explain or fully comprehend.
