As you grow in maturity and in your capacity to submit your will to mine, you will simultaneously grow in your effectiveness to cooperate with my spirit. The desire within your heart to work with me to make real, lasting differences will be satisfied. You will be both frustrated and satisfied at the same time. You will experience gratification as you submit and surrender to my will, allowing us to cooperate together. (1)
But as you taste satisfaction of small things an appetite for greater things will emerge. The desire for growth and increase of following my will in your daily life will become alive and active. This is where the frustration will lie; for this desire will continue to grow day after day. It will compel you to move in love. It will compel you to reside in love. It will compel you to sell all you have, and buy the field with the pearl of great price. (2)
As you make progress in this direction, you will perceive the distance still yet before you. Even though you have already taken much ground and have already advanced forward greatly, you will become motivated and inspired to press forward. Though the journey is long, you will find it to be an enjoyable pursuit as you continue to walk with me hand in hand, day after day.
The work ahead of you is vast. As you acquire skills and experience you will desire to be used in greater measures, to make a bigger, richer, more meaningful impact, time and time again. The things of your childhood will no longer satisfy as you continue to grow and mature. This aspiration of greater contribution will inspire you to realms of greater sacrifice as well as realms of greater rewards. You will not love your life so much as to shrink back from fear of death, but in all things, you will walk and reside in love – love that has conquers death, fear, and the grave. (3)
