You Will By No Means Be Disappointed

Even though there are days you feel you cannot continue, let me assure you I will not test you above what you can bear. I know you feel lifeless, as if you have no energy left to continue. I know you feel more than weary, as if there is no possible way you can continue. I know you are hard pressed on every side, feeling crushed, downtrodden, and overwhelmed, but in spite of these things allow yourself to engage with me. For as you do, you will find new strength available for you. You will find new perspective and understanding to situations that seem hopeless. You will find new courage to the circumstances that seem so overwhelming and frightening. (1)

For in me you will see the world as I do. In me you will have no fear. In me you will not concern yourself with temporary setbacks, or irrelevant losses that do not matter in the big scheme of things. I will change your perspective and I will change your interpretation of your surroundings. I will change the emotions within your heart, and as a result, you will choose to respond differently. (2)

I will show you the strength you already possess, though you do not detect it. I will show you the answers before your eyes, even though you have not seen them. I will show you the path of success and advancement, even though it was not apparent to you. (3)

Know that as you engage with me it is not mere child’s play, is not worthless, or a waste of time. But know in me you will find all you need, especially in the times when you have great need of hope, courage, and understanding. When you encounter these troubles in this world, and you most surely will, come to me and engage with me, for I will not turn you away. Come to me and you will find I will embrace you and share all my riches, joy, happiness, and peace with you. I will share my great bounty with you in all things, and you will by no means be disappointed. (4)
