You Are Being Renewed

Though there is struggle before you this day, do not feel overwhelmed with it all. Though you encounter very real obstacles, do not allow yourself to feel helpless. Do not be down on yourself for the mistakes of your past. Seek me in all these things, and you will learn and remember I am with you still, but I am also supplying you with all you need. Have I not already given you my son? How will I not, along with him, graciously give you all things (1)?

So walk with me in the cool of the day, when you feel you are too tired to continue, and I will give you strength. Walk with me in the days in which you have no hope, and allow me to whisper in your ear. Walk with in your hour of deepest rejection, and I will shower you with my loving affections over you, for I love you dearly, and receive you fully (2).

Cast all your hurts, heartaches, fears, anxieties, and failures at my feet, and we will walk over them together. For though these things are real, they are small, and temporary. They are small in comparison to the great glory and reality that is being worked through you. They are temporary in their duration, for though painful, they are fleeting. I know what you have need of even before you ask. I am not so different from you that I cannot sympathize with all you are experiencing, for I am fully aware of all you know and undergo (3).

Even in the midst of your struggles I am with you, and I am celebrating you for who you are, and all that’s placed in you. You will grow, flourish, and blossom. You will do well, thrive, and prosper in all things. So do not lose heart, though outwardly you feel as though you are wasting away and fading away, for inwardly you are being renewed, refreshed, strengthened, and even reborn day by day (4).
