Come To Me And I Will Heal You

If you will come to me I will heal you. If you will forget about all the things you do to ignore your problems I will help you. If you will drop your busyness, and forget all your idols, and stop with all the things you do to numb your pain and come to me, I will come to you and I will heal you. For I see the humanity in which you are clothed, and I know the limits with which you face day after day.

And if you come to me, I will come to you and heal you. I will restore you and pick you up in the areas in which you have experienced failure time and time again. For surely I am the God of new beginnings, and I will bring you to the places of your greatest hurts, and heal them. If you will embrace my courage we will face these giants together. And though it will be painful and unpleasant at times, you will overcome. You do not have to continue to live in the hurt and the shame of the failures of your past.

For I am the God that restores and I am the God that redeems all things. And I am the God of new beginnings, even this day. So I’m inviting you to forget about your limits you’ve placed on yourself. Forget about the timelines you’ve invented over the years, and the benchmarks you’ve constructed, and the milestones you’ve erected – all the things you’ve used to measure your failures.

Forget about all these things, and come to me, and I will heal you. I will heal you, and redeem the time lost, and I will give you a new hope and a new vision for your future. For you see things darkly, and you see things as limited. But I can see past all these things. I can see past your hurts. I can see past your fears. I can see past your limits and certainly can see past your failures. Even the big failures in your life are small to me.

So though it will be hard and uncomfortable, come to me. Come to me and I will heal you. I will offer you my peace for your weariness. For though you think you are strong, you are weak. And in your tiredness I will restore you, my Beloved. For my eyes see your struggles, and I know how fragile your life really is. And my heart feels your pain, day by day. So do not delay. Do not wait to come to me. For in our time together you will be lightened, and your heart will be healed, and your memory will forget the things that haunt you to this day.

So come into my fellowship, and ignore the voices of torment and irritation surrounding you. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light, so come to me and I will heal you.
